New security locks for full panic doors with burglary protection up to class RC4

ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH has now extended its range of OneSystem security locks especially for requirements for double-leaf full panic doors. In the multi-point lock version, the new security locks offer increased bulglary protection and are able to achieve resistance class RC4 in suitable systems. This is currently the highest class on the market in this field of application.

The OneSystem lock family from ASSA ABLOY offers security locks for every requirement. The highest class in the range, previously only available for single-leaf doors, has now been supplemented with new security locks for doucle-leaf full panic doors. Thanks to the integrated full panic function, the single and multi-point locking devices always open both the inactive leaf and the active leaf without further handles when the touch bars are actuated. It does not matter whether the touch bar of the inactive leaf or that of the active leaf has been used. ASSA ABLOY has developed the new security locks as a mechanical, motorised and handle-controlled variant in order to be able to implement every function for access from outside. In the simplest version, the locks are mechanically unlocked from the outside for access. If access control or a barrier-free swing door operator is required on the door, motorised locks offer a simple solution. If the door has to be integrated into building services, either the motorised or handle-controlled version is the best choice. In addition to the possible integration of an access control, the status of the door can also be queried here.

Uniquely high protection against burglary for full panic doors

The combination of ASSA ABLOY's new security locks with burglary-resistant doors is currently unique on the market, as the multi-point locks are suitable for resistance class RC4. With this certification, the door can withstand a burglary attempt using simple power tools such as a cordless drill over a longer period of time. This means that property operators can benefit for the first time from strong protection against burglary, as well as a high level of personal safety for double-leaf doors. Requirement: The door manufacturer has passed the prescribed test with the new OneSystem locks for approval according to resistance class RC4.

More design flexibility, easy installation

The new security locks also offer further advantages. Especially planners and architects gain more design freedom with the new locking solution and do not have to limit themselves to single-leaf doors. Assembly remains simple for processors. This great flexibility is based on the specially developed housings: The locks for the single-leaf and double-leaf doors are identical during installation.
